The micro-loop texture actually soaks up water fast instead of just pushing it around like my old towel. It's big enough that I can stretch out on the sand without my feet hanging off the edge.

Took this to the beach last weekend and it soaked up water instantly without feeling soggy the rest of the day. The micro-loop fabric dries fast too, which is a big deal when you're packing up sandy gear. Colors held up fine after a wash.

The micro-loop texture feels way plusher than my old terry towel and it doesn't leave lint all over my skin. Folded up it takes almost no room in my beach bag, which sold me.
